Calm before the 2nd storm hits a quick morning set up of cutting the greens and changing the holes
The team who look after the greens, the fairways and everything in between, all year round.

Head greenkeeper Doug Mackinson and his team look after all 156 acres of the course: cutting the greens and fairways, raking the bunkers, moving the holes and tees, and keeping the ditches, ponds and trees in order.
Most of the work happens early, before the first golfers are out, and the big jobs, like hollow-tining and top-dressing the greens, are planned for the quieter months so they get in the way as little as possible.
When there's heavy rain or work on the course, they decide what's safe to play, and the pro shop puts it on the website straight away.

Solid days work on the 2nd approach, marked out, dug out filled with topsoil levelled and turfed, problem area due to the hot summer and low level clay soil base by removing and replacing with a better top layer and quality turf this should bed in lovely over the next month
