What we do with the details you give us on this website, in plain English.

Who we are

Risebridge Golf Centre, 5 Risebridge Chase, Romford RM1 4DG. We are responsible for the personal information you give us on this website. You can reach us at proshop@risebridgegolf.com or on 01708 741429.

What we collect

When you book a tee time: your name, your phone number, your email address, how many are playing, any seniors, the buggies, trolleys or clubs you want, any note you add, and the internet (IP) address the booking came from.

When you send us a message: your name, your email address or phone number, your message and any details you fill in, such as a date or the size of your group.

Like every website, our server also keeps short technical logs of the pages requested and the address they came from, to keep the site secure.

To see how many people use the website, it counts visits itself, without cookies: the page opened, the website you came from (just its name, such as Google), and whether it's a phone, tablet or computer. Each visitor gets a code that changes every day, so we can tell one visit from another without knowing who you are or following you from day to day. We keep these counts for two years.

Why we use it

To hold your tee time and run your round, and to answer your message. We email you about your booking: to confirm it, if it changes or is cancelled, and (if we send them) a reminder before your round. That's all: we don't send marketing, and we never sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.

To keep tee times free for people who turn up, and to stop abuse and fake bookings: we don't take online bookings from throwaway email addresses, and we may stop an email address, phone number or internet address from booking online after repeated no-shows or abuse. You can always call the pro shop.

Who sees it

The pro shop team, so they can run the booking or reply to you. Lesson enquiries go to our golf professional, who gives the lessons. The company that hosts this website stores it for us, and our email provider sends the booking emails; neither can use it for anything else. We only pass it to anyone else if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Bookings and messages for up to 12 months, so we can sort out any questions about them, and server logs for 30 days; then we delete them. The internet address on a booking is deleted after 30 days, and a blocked internet address after 90 days at most.

Your booking link

After you book, you get a private page for your booking where you can add it to your calendar or cancel it. Anyone with that link can see and cancel the booking, so keep it to yourself.

Cookies

This website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies, so there's nothing to accept. Staff who sign in to update the website get one cookie that keeps them signed in.

The flyover films on the hole pages are hosted by YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. The film then plays from YouTube's privacy-enhanced service, and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us or call the pro shop. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If anything changes, we'll update this page. Last updated 27 October 2026.
